The service

SocialCharts is a research platform for traders: live charts, news, ideas, account analysis, and verified profiles of human traders and strategies that can be followed and copied.

The service is free for users. In eligible countries it is funded by referral revenue from partner brokers (see Partner brokers). Some features and partner links are available only in certain countries of residence.

You must be at least 18 years old and allowed to trade the products shown where you live.

No investment advice

Nothing on SocialCharts is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Rankings, simulations, ideas, AI summaries and Coach answers describe past data and published views.

Past performance, including verified performance, does not guarantee future results. Leveraged products such as forex and CFDs can lose value quickly. You decide what to trade and how much.

Connecting a trading account

Connecting an account is optional, and you choose the level of access:

Statement upload
An HTML, CSV or XLSX file used only for account analysis. No connection to your broker is made.
Read-only (investor password)
With this read-only connection, SocialCharts can read trades, balance and equity, but cannot place, change or close orders. It supports analysis and, depending on whether the account is real or virtual, profile verification and being copied.
Full access (master password)
Needed only to copy others. SocialCharts can place, change and close orders on that account, and does so only according to the copy settings you choose.
Expert Advisor
If you prefer not to give a master password, you can run the SocialCharts EA on your own computer or VPS; it receives signals and places orders from there.

Passwords are stored encrypted with separate key management and are used only for the level you chose. You can disconnect an account at any time from My accounts; reading and copying for that account stop when you do.

Copying

When you copy a trader or a strategy, orders are placed on your own broker account, from our servers, according to your settings. Gains, losses, costs, slippage and delays on that account are yours.

A copy is not identical to the original: spread, commission, slippage, execution delay, minimum lot sizes and your filters can all produce different results. Delay depends on how often the connection reads the master account; SocialCharts shows it as measured instead of assuming it. You can stop a copy or change its settings at any time.

  • On your own broker, copying is available as a 30-day trial with up to 4 copy slots, once per trading account and once per phone number.
  • On a partner broker, copying has no slot or time limit.
  • Your broker’s terms, margin rules and trading hours apply to every copied order.

Partner brokers

SocialCharts earns referral fees (introducing broker, or IB, commissions) from partner brokers when users open or move accounts with them. Partnerships are marked wherever a broker is shown, and brokers are ordered by user criteria such as spread, commission, execution and region.

Only brokers we have an agreement with are offered as options. An account with a broker is a contract between you and that broker. SocialCharts is not a broker, does not hold client funds and does not trade on its own account.

Prohibited use

You may not use SocialCharts to:

  • sell signals, invite members to outside paid groups, or claim performance with screenshots instead of a connected account;
  • create fake accounts, followers, copiers or engagement, or impersonate another person;
  • manipulate proof records, ideas or rankings, including attempts to alter sealed levels;
  • scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service, or access other users’ data;
  • use features or partner brokers that are not permitted in your country of residence.

Your content

Ideas, posts and comments remain yours. By publishing them, you allow SocialCharts to show, translate and distribute them within the service and in link previews. Published ideas are sealed, so their levels and outcomes stay on the record.

Publications are checked automatically before they appear and may be removed by moderation if they break these terms.

Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time from Settings. Closing starts a 30-day period in which the account can be restored; after that, personal data is deleted or anonymised as described in the Privacy policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users at risk, or must be closed by law. When copying is suspended, no new copied orders are placed; positions already open on your broker account remain yours to manage.

Availability and liability

We work to keep prices, connections and copying running, but market data, broker connections and third-party services can be delayed or interrupted. The service is provided as it is, without a promise of uninterrupted operation.

To the extent the law allows, SocialCharts is not liable for trading losses, missed trades or costs that result from your decisions, your settings, your broker or a connection outage.

Changes and contact

When these terms change, the version and date at the top of this page change. Signed-in users are told about material changes before they take effect.
